Flapjacks to get you fighting fit?

You might not think that eating large numbers of flapjacks are the best way lose weight and get in shape, but that’s just what Ricky Hatton did in the run up a big fight.

His nutritionist, Kerry Kayes revealed to Sky News the secrets of the punishing regime that turns “Ricky Fatton” into 147lbs of world-class fighting machine.

Rather than tucking into hearty steak dinners, Hatton will bid for the title of best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet having munched his way through a pile of flapjacks.

Cherry and almond are his favourite – and the sweet-toothed fighter gets through three a day as part of his finely-tuned nutritional regime. Read the full story here…
