Flapjacks and muffins are not normally the stuff of inspiration for poets . They normally prefer roses, love or er, war. His nutritionist, Kerry Kayes revealed to Sky News the secrets of the punishing regime that turns “Ricky Fatton” into 147lbs of world-class fighting machine.

Rather than tucking into hearty steak dinners, Hatton will bid for the title of best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet having munched his way through a pile of flapjacks.

Flapjack selections

Flapjacks might not be the most common thing you find coming through your letterbox at home.

For me the most common thing is bills, followed by letters for things I don’t want to buy followed by things I do want to buy but can’t addord.
